Outbound to the bench
Affected machines travel under an authorised reference, either by courier arranged by your team or by a method we set up with you during onboarding.
Depot service depends on movement that is predictable. We publish packing guidance, track shipments in both directions and consolidate returns so your team can reconcile stock quickly.
We provide services exclusively to businesses and organizations. We do not offer consumer or personal-device support. Minimum engagement: organizations with 5 or more managed laptops.
A repair is only as good as the journey around it. Machines that travel badly arrive damaged, and parcels that return one by one create work for the team receiving them. Our depot logistics are arranged so that devices move cleanly from your premises to our bench and back with as little handling as possible.
Affected machines travel under an authorised reference, either by courier arranged by your team or by a method we set up with you during onboarding.
We supply clear packing instructions so devices are protected in transit, including advice on batteries and on securing machines inside their cases.
Where timing allows, repaired machines return together with a manifest, reducing the number of parcels your team has to handle and sign for.
Shipments are tracked in both directions, and your account manager watches the pipeline so that nothing sits idle at either end.
A few minutes of care prevents a great deal of damage. Machines should be powered down, seated in suitable padding, and packed so they cannot shift during handling. We advise against loose accessories travelling with devices, since they can press against screens. Where your organisation handles many machines, we can help standardise packing so that every site follows the same method and returns arrive in a consistent condition.
Repairs are batched so that shipping is efficient and turnaround stays predictable. Rather than sending one machine at a time, your team can gather affected devices and dispatch them together under one job group. Our bench then works through the batch, and the return arrives consolidated with a single manifest. Batches are particularly effective for schools collecting devices over a break, or organisations refreshing equipment before a busy period.
When a batch is complete, the return manifest lists each machine with its fault, the action taken and its test outcome. Your team checks machines in against the manifest, matches each to the asset register and updates records. Any discrepancy is raised with your account manager immediately, so problems are resolved while the details are still fresh.
Occasionally a machine is beyond economic repair. In those cases we document the reasoning, supply an honest verdict and return the device in its received condition. That gives your organisation the information it needs to replace the machine through its own procurement route, without pressure from a vendor with an interest in the decision.
