Authorised intake
Every machine is accepted only against a reference from your organisation, tied to a named contact and the remit for the work.
Company laptops carry company data. We treat custody as a first-class requirement, with authorised intake, logged movements and documented returns for every device we handle.
We provide services exclusively to businesses and organizations. We do not offer consumer or personal-device support. Minimum engagement: organizations with 5 or more managed laptops.
When a device leaves your premises for repair, responsibility transfers with it. Organisations rightly ask what happens to their equipment and their data while it is away. Our custody process is designed so that the answer is always documented: who handed the machine over, who received it, what condition it was in and what was done before it returned.
Every machine is accepted only against a reference from your organisation, tied to a named contact and the remit for the work.
Devices are logged on arrival with their identifiers and received condition, so there is no dispute about the state they arrived in.
Work is carried out in a restricted workshop area with defined access, reducing the risk of loss or unauthorised handling.
Returns are consolidated with a manifest, and each machine is signed out so your register stays accurate.
Hardware work does not require us to read your data, and we keep it that way. Where a repair can be completed without accessing storage, we do so. If your policy requires it, machines can be supplied in a state that protects sensitive content before they reach us, and we follow any handling rules your organisation sets out. We recommend that your team retains backups and, where appropriate, removes or secures data before devices leave your site, and we include that guidance in onboarding.
Machines are stored off the floor in protected conditions, and sensitive components are handled with appropriate care. Parts removed during repair are retained with the job and returned on request, so you can verify what was replaced. Nothing from your fleet is repurposed, remarketed or used as a donor for other work, which matters for organisations with disposal and audit obligations.
Whether devices travel to our bench by courier or are collected during a scheduled visit, packaging and tracking are agreed in advance. For high-value batches we can require signature on delivery and share tracking references with your contact. Where a shipment is urgent, your account manager coordinates the movement so that machines are not left in transit unnecessarily.
At the close of each job the asset record is complete: fault, diagnosis, action, parts and test result. That record supports your internal asset management, your audit processes and any insurance claim. It also makes fleet-wide patterns visible, so that recurring failures can be addressed with a planned change rather than repeated repairs.
